The border is the iconic Lal Paar composition of Bengal — a wide, bold red silk stripe with a beautiful fine ivory floral vine / creeper woven band running along the inner edge. The Lal Paar border runs the full length of the saree on both sides, framing the ivory body with the deep, auspicious red of Shakti.
The pallu is a breathtaking navy blue / midnight silk ground with a spectacular large-scale Kalamkari / Srikalahasti-style digital print of the complete Durga Parivar. The composition depicts Goddess Durga in full multi-armed form at the centre — her ornate crown, fierce kohl-lined eyes, multiple arms with divine weapons, and her lion vahana — flanked by Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Saraswati, Kartik & Ganesh — all rendered in the bold Kalamkari style in ivory, deep red, teal / peacock blue, and burnt orange on the navy ground.
